Please, read this instructions carefully before submitting your manuscript!

Transoxiana is a Refereed Electronic Journal being published twice a year (Jun/July - Nov/Dec)

Transoxiana will publish articles related to Asian Studies, in Spanish. Manuscripts in languages other than Spanish will be published in its original version along with an Spanish translation.

Transoxiana will accept articles being submitted to other electronic or printed publications. Make sure you agree the terms with your Editor (and keep the Cppyright of your own articles to yourself!)

Submissions

Manuscripts will be received in Electronic Format, via E-mail only.

Please, keep the E-mail you send us, it is your proof of submission.

Manuscripts will be received during the whole year.

When submitting your Manuscript, attach in a separate page the following information:

1. Title
2. Tematic Area (ie. Egypt, Ancient Near East, Middle East, South Asia, Central Asia, Far East, etc.)
3. Up to 20 (twenty) keywords that better describe your work; this will facilitate the refereeing procedure.
4. Name(s) of the Author(s)
5. Accademic affiliation
6. E-mail address(es) of Author(s)
7. Abstract (no more than 200 words)

Refereeing Procedure

All articles must be reviewed by the Referees Team of the Editorial Board, who will approve their publication.

Their decission will be unarguable.

Authors will be notified on Manuscript's approval or rejection as soon as the Editorial Board has finished the Refereeing Process.

As this process is finished, accepted Manuscripts will be sent to Authors for corrections and will be given a 90 days' time to send them back.

Those Manuscripts which had not completed the Refereeing Procedure by the closing time of the Issue "in press", will be published in the following issue.

The Refereeing and Editing Process takes from 45 to 90 days, approximately.

Please, forgive us if it takes a little longer sometimes. This is a fully Voluntary undertaking, and we all have other jobs to make our living :)

Formats

Send your Manuscript in one of the following formats: "Plain Text" (TXT), Rich Text Format (RTF) or HTML.

You can use PDF files (remember that those files cannot be edited)

Microsoft Word documents (DOC) WILL NOT be accepted.

You can use graphics and images use JPG (preferred) or GIF.

If you need to use other formats, consult us.

Label your files. Avoid names as "37893hfbnd783_asiu.jdue.gif" or "article to send.txt". Use names that allow an easy and fast identification.

References

Athors are responsible to provide the references to the sources, data, statistics, images, etc. used in their Manuscripts. Each author will be responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.

Recommended format for quotations and bibliographic references:

Text text text "quote quote quote" [aK31, p.101] text (...) text reference to Author [CH90] text...

Avoid using footnotes. If you still need to use them, please consult us.

Recommended format:

License

Articles can be published under the Open Content License, CreativeCommons License, or other. Authors must provide the reproduction and licensing conditions at the end of their articles. Licensing conditions will be discussed with the Editor of Transoxiana.

In EVERY case, Authors will be the sole owners of the Copyright of their articles.

All articles published are protected under the Intelectual Property Law number 11.723 of the Government of the Argentine Republic.
